Astronaut Suit Action Figures

• Limited-edition astronaut figures are now available — each one sealed in a collectible box!
• Unbox it to use the figure as your new profile avatar… or keep it sealed to flex your rarest finds!
• Warning: Once unboxed, your figure can't be traded — think before you rip that seal!
• You can snag only one of each figure — no second chances. Choose wisely, collector!
• Start off with the T-Minus astronaut suit, unbox it and set it as your avatar!
• Trading between users coming in a later version!

User Accounts

• User accounts are not mandatory, it's just a way of keeping count of how many users the app has and send out newsletters if I ever decide it's worth the trouble. Feel free to dismiss this feature if you are not interested. Thank you!
• Your saved articles, playlists, space suits and patches are all saved to your iCloud account regardless of account creation.

Timezone Picker

• You can now choose from different timezones when viewing a launch.
• Just tap the down arrow next to the time in the "Liftoff" section.

Upcoming Launches

• You can now browse upcoming launches in Search.
• Filters also apply to these launches to further narrow down your search results.

Weather Concerns

• Launches will now display weather concerns (if any) in the "Liftoff" section.

Stability

• Fixed various bugs around the app that may have caused crashes or performance issues.

Unfollow Behavior Setting

• The default behavior when unfollowing a space agency or location is that you will no longer see that content on Home or receive notifications about it.
• This update introduces the ability to further tailor that experience by choosing to apply those filters only on "Home", meaning you will not see the content on Home but will still receive notifications about it, OR only on "Notifications", meaning you will not receive notifications about that content but will still see it on Home.
• Still playing around with this idea, so feel free to reach out with feedback!

Home

• Added the launch status to each launch on the Home screen.
• No need to access the page in order to see this information anymore!

Starbase

• Introduced Vehicles, Ships & Road Closures to the Starbase section.
• These are still in the early stages and will suffer changes in upcoming updates.

Mission Patches

• With every new update, new mission patches are also released. Enjoy a few new patches from SpaceX, RocketLab & Blue Origin!

New Quests

• I've hidden some new Classified trading cards somewhere inside the app, game on!

Notification Filters

• After discussions with members of the community and conducting some research I decided to enable filtering notifications by location to all users.

Trading Cards

Notification Filters

• There is now a new option in the Notification settings called "Keyword Filter".
• Say you only want to be notified about Starlink launches, just add the "Starlink" keyword to the filter and you will be notified only about those launches!
• Other examples could be "Starship", "Electron", "Glenn", and so on.
• Sky's the limit, well, not really!

Improvements all around

• Always trying to improve the app, this update fixes some issues around the accuracy of some information.

Launch Notification Scheduling

• Previously you would get notified about launches 24 hours in advance, 1 hour in advance and 10 minutes in advance without being able to control this. Now you can!
• Go to Settings > Notifications and adjust when you want to be notified about upcoming launches.

Statistics for Trading Cards

• Tapping on the "Collected" container will now take you to a new page that allows you to see your progress so far and other statistics!

Classified Trading Cards

• Introducing a new type of trading card!
• These cannot be redeemed through the usual means, but instead they are generated whenever you complete quests throughout the app.
• For example, checking launches when they are at T-0 a set number of times, or creating a Playlist with a certain name, all these quests will be rewarded with a Classified Trading Card!
• Instructions on how to obtain these cards will be posted on X and Instagram every now and then so be sure to follow @t_minus_app on X and @tminus_app on Instagram!

Map Style Bug

• Fixed a bug that caused a crash when attempting to access the Map Styles from Settings.

Trading

• Fixed a bug that caused confusing behavior when attempting to trade cards from a Collection.

Astronauts

• Fixed a bug that caused "Time in Space" to display a wrong time.

iOS 18

• Added support for dark and tinted App Icons.
• Note, this will only work on the default App Icon.

App Theme

• Added the option to change the app's theme based on the device's theme.
• This way, users that have scheduled a light theme during the day and a dark theme during the night won't have to manually switch in the app every time.
• All the other themes are still there, just scroll to the left and it will reveal all the available themes!

• You can now sort the Collections by the number of redeemed trading cards.

Space Baseball Cards

• Geoff Barett makes some amazing Space Baseball Cards and I just wanted to showcase his work since he's been an inspiration to me in the early days of T-Minus.
• There is a link on the Mission Patch Cards page if you are interested, the container will dismiss itself after you tap it!

ISS Map View

• Brought back the ISS map view so you can see the location of the ISS in real time!
